Quercitin - a bioactive bioflavonoid with strong antioxidant properties. High dietary intake of Quercitin and other bioflavonoids are correlated with better organ health, especially the eyes and lungs as well as in breast tissue and the cardiovascular system. Quercitin helps inhibit the buildup of a type of blood sugar that could otherwise lead to cataract formation in the lens of the eye and is a nutritional tool the body can use to better modulate the inflammatory response.
