Eating just 1/2 cup of spinach a day is enough to signicantly help your eyesight. Spinach contains valuable antioxidants, lutein and zeaxanthin, both of which are shown to promote healthy eyes. Both are found in significant quantities in spinach.

The lutein in spinach can promote a healthy inflammation response in your body which may relieve discomfort associated with arthritis.

Besides the antioxidants, spinach contains an awesome array of vitamins and minerals. Vitamins A, C, & K, folate, manganese. Check out this overwhelming breakdown.

On to the good stuff, how to eat this stuff!

There are sooo many ways to eat spinach. You already know how to make a spinach salad, but one of my favourites is this one:

Really Good Spinach Salad

  • Spinach
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Candied Almonds
  • Thin Red Onion
  • Strawberry Vinaigrette (up to you to find the recipe for that)

Another great way is to juice the spinach. Just throw it in with some carrot and ginger juice and go that way. Another way is to juice the spinach and add the juice to some soup.

If spinach is out of season, you can always supplement (link goes to our own product line) and get all the benefits easily everyday.

You can also easily grow spinach in your own backyard, balcony, or in a planter box if you live in the middle of the city.

Less important than where you get it is THAT you get it.
